Finding Health Insurance if You Are Self-Employed - New York Times

I know that health insurance is one of the biggest obstacles preventing many would-be entrepreneurs from making their business dreams a reality. So while this isn't a post on marketing or media, I felt it would be useful to many of you. This article contains several links and ideas on obtaining health insurance. Still no tips on making it affordable, but it's a start.

Rolling Out the Invisible Red Carpet -- Introducing the YouTube Award Winners

The votes are in and here's a list of the 2007 YouTube Video Award Winners: No red carpet for these winners, no awards ceremony, not even a trophy -- just millions of fans watching and sharing their videos. Like this one that we've featured which won in the category of "Most Adorable." Consider us suckers for giggling babies, but we laughed out loud watching this one.

Who Knew? Hulu Launches with Loads of Your Favorite T.V. Shows for Free

So here's the story: YouTube exploded and made all the t.v. and movie execs nervous. All their content was being distributed for free and worse, they weren't getting their cut. So NBC and FOX decided to fight back with their own streaming video site called Hulu with super-premium content -- all free (sort of; you have to watch some ads) -- and like everything online, it's on-demand. (Take that, Comcast!)

So now my husband and I can go back and watch those first few episodes of "Chuck" that we missed (and that I have not been able to find on YouTube). Fans of "The Office" can stream to their heart's content.

But Hulu isn't content to stream only t.v. shows. You'll also find movies from Sony and MGM, sports highlights, classic games and more. And if you like what you see, you can embed the clips on your own site (just like YouTube) and share with your friends.

Spring Forward with Some Sliders

Ah, the Porcelain Palace. Home of the little square hamburger, affectionately known as the "slider." In my t.v. days, I had occasion to call on the headquarters of White Castle up in Ohio, and the building looked just like the all-white kitschy little establishments many a college kid grew up on. It was the after-hours munchies place.

Well, White Castle does not want to deprive its fans of burgers just because we lose an hour this weekend. So for one hour Sunday morning, you can get two burgers, on the house.

Another Kind of March Madness

Forget March Madness. For "Lost" t.v. fans, there's a new madness (as if the show isn't maddening enough already!). Get your (virtual) pencils out and write in your favorite Lost characters. Watch the bracket evolve and eventually narrow down to your favorite two Losties. Really, what could be more fun on a Friday?
